200 hr Pilates & Barre Certification, January 2018

Body Barre Fitness is has recently launched dates for the upcoming 200 hr Teacher Training Program. Accredited with the Canadian Yoga Alliance and Can Fit Pro. Our Teacher Training is the most comprehensive program of its kind in Canada. In this Certifications students will learn every aspects of the Body Barre Fitness Method; from Anatomy in Motion ; Pilates, Barre Concept and BarreFloor and how to privately train clients. Our program can be taken in sections or all together. Dates TBA this Sept 2017

Barre Concept Teacher Training , June 9/10/11th

Barre Concept is the worlds first internationally approved barre workout method. The 3 Day intensive training course has accreditation in the UK, USA, Canada and Australia. BarreConcept is a creative 60 minute workout, which combines the precision of Pilates , alignment of yoga , the grace and technique of ballet. Add to this the strength from sports conditioning and you have all the elements of a typical Barre Concept session. This unique formula is designed to tone the thighs, lift the butt, sculpt the arms and flatten the abdominals.

BarreFloor Certification

BarreFloor is a non stop toning class performed on the mat. It follows a specific structure such as warm up and mobilize section to start the class on the floor and then core strength exercises are performed in a variety of different positions, in a choreographed sequence. Finally a flowing stretch cool down sequence ends the class. Pilates principles are combined with fitness and ballad moves on the mat. The routine increases stamina to make for a fun and challenging workout. This is similar to a full barre class but the exercises are done on the mat instead. On this one day course , you will learn how to teach the full one hour class plan routine, along with variations for each class component.

If group classes are not your thing and you need more one on one, we also offer private , semi and trio private training in studio or in the comforts of your home.
